Mark Erwin, MBA, APR is a seasoned communications strategist and certified senior program manager with more than two decades of experience helping organizations cut through the noise with clarity, precision, and purpose. His career spans federal agencies, high-growth startups, and private sector firms—where he’s led strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and messaging efforts for multimillion-dollar initiatives. Whether advising executives at U.S. Customs and Border Protection or crafting regulatory messaging for an aviation tech startup, Mark knows how to create communication plans that align teams and deliver measurable results.

Mark is Accredited Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and currently serves as Vice President of PRSA’s National Capital Chapter. He previously co-chaired its Accreditation Committee, where he mentored dozens of PR professionals through strategic planning and message development. In addition to his communications credentials, Mark is a DHS-certified senior program manager (FAC-P/PM Level III) with experience overseeing large, complex initiatives. He combines hands-on leadership with proven frameworks like RPIE (Research, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation) to deliver tailored communications plans that drive impact.
